Software Development Processes

The various activities which are undertaken when developing software are commonly known as a software development process. This process begins with the identification of a requirement for software and ends with the formal verification of the developed software. There are a number of different models for software development processes include Sequential processes, Progressive Development processes and Iterative processes. The documented collection of policies, methods and procedures followed by a development team or organization to practice software engineering defines the software development Process of that organization. Latest software development methodologies are the organized structures of sequential and parallel activities imposed on the development of software products.
